J&R Health Insurance is a family-owned brokerage based in Puyallup, Washington. Founded in 2025, we’re a business built around a simple idea: choosing health coverage is easier with someone in your corner who actually cares about you. We treat every client with compassion and respect. We listen before we suggest anything, we explain things in plain words, and we stay reachable after you enroll.

We’re licensed in Washington, Oregon, Georgia, and Tennessee.

We are a mother-and-daughter team of licensed independent brokers here to guide you through a complex healthcare system. We genuinely care about helping people in our community with their health insurance needs, and that is the part that we love the most. When we’re not working we are either out enjoying the Pacific Northwest’s natural beauty or taking a travel adventure abroad.

Rowena Baladad

Rowena is a licensed health insurance agent with decades of experience. She focuses on Medicare and on helping veterans coordinate their benefits, and she’s built her work around client education and plain, unbiased advice in English, Tagalog, or Ilocano. Jasmine Baladad-Nalder

Independent Broker

Jasmine is a licensed health insurance broker who works with clients on both Medicare and ACA marketplace plans, helping them weigh their options and enroll in something that fits. She also manages day-to-day operations, so the small stuff never slips through the cracks. Staying current

Every year, we complete Medicare recertification and testing required by CMS and each carrier we contract with, so our guidance stays current. We continue to hold active insurance licenses in the states we serve.
