Accessibility Statement
Effective date: July 31, 2026
Last reviewed: July 31, 2026
Summary
J&R Health Insurance LLC (“J&R Health Insurance”) wants everyone to be able to use our website, jrhealthins.com, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control, or a keyboard alone. We aim to meet a recognized accessibility standard, WCAG 2.2 Level AA, and we keep working to improve accessibility over time. If something does not work for you, you can tell us using the details in the Contact and accommodations section, and we will help. In this statement, “you” means you, the person using this site, and “we,” “us,” and “our” mean J&R Health Insurance.
Contents
1. The standard we follow
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at Level AA as our accessibility standard. WCAG is an international standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) that explains how to make web content easier to use for people with disabilities. Level AA is the level most organizations aim for.
2. Conformance status
We aim to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Based on our most recent in-house review, using industry-standard testing tools together with manual testing, we believe the site substantially meets that standard, though we do not claim full or formal conformance. Our review covers the pages currently published; as we add new pages, we work to test them and update this statement, and we aim to re-test after significant changes.
3. Using this website
We built this website so that you should be able to:
- move through the site using a keyboard alone
- use the site with common screen readers
- use the site with speech recognition software
- zoom in up to 400% without content breaking or forcing you to scroll sideways to read
- read content that does not rely on color alone to carry meaning
- use forms that have clear labels, instructions, and error messages
We designed the site to work with current versions of major browsers and commonly used assistive technology. For the best results, keep your browser and assistive technology reasonably up to date. Some older or newly released browsers or assistive technologies may not fully support every feature. While we aim to make the site as accessible as possible, we cannot always guarantee a consistent experience across every browser or assistive-technology version.
4. How we test and maintain accessibility
We check accessibility in two ways. We use automated tools to scan pages for issues software can detect, such as missing text alternatives, low color contrast, and unlabeled form fields. We also test by hand, because automated tools reliably cover only part of the standard. Manual testing includes moving through the site with a keyboard, using screen readers and other assistive technology, and checking that content reads in a sensible order.
We also work to keep the site accessible as it grows. We:
- build accessibility in when we design and add new pages or features
- check accessibility before we publish new major versions
- fix confirmed barriers we find in testing or that you report to us
5. Known limitations
As of our most recent review, we are not aware of any accessibility barriers on the pages we publish. Some features of the site rely on third-party services that we do not fully control and that can change without notice, for example, our online contact form. If one of these creates a barrier, we want to know about it. Please tell us using the details in the Contact and accommodations section, and we will work to fix it or to give you another way to get what you need.
6. Contact and accommodations
We welcome your feedback. If you cannot use part of this website, need an adjustment to use it, or want a document in an accessible format, please tell us and we will work with you. It helps if you include:
- the address of the page
- a short description of the problem
- the browser, device, and assistive technology you were using, if you are comfortable sharing that
